Clik here to view.William “Bill” Allen of Marble Falls, Texas, beloved husband of Jane, died Nov. 29, 2014. He was born in Arlington, Virginia, on Oct. 16, 1944, the son of Clarence and Juanita Allen.
He graduated with honors from the University of Virginia School of Commerce with a Bachelor of Science in business. He was licensed as a CPA in Virginia and Texas.
Bill followed his ambitions, and his adventurous nature enriched his life’s journey from Virginia to Illinois and from Alaska to California to his journey on a sailboat to write his book to Grand Cayman, where he became a NAUI dive massager and instructor. He met Jane, and the adventure continued to Texas. He was an accomplished chef and owned and operated the Jamin House Cafe in Marble Falls. He was also a licensed real estate broker in Texas.
He will be remembered for his generosity, profound intelligence, easy athleticism and work ethic.
In addition to his beloved Jane, he is sadly missed by his cherished daughter, Shaun Leigh Budnik, her husband, Greg, and granddaughters Kaci, Taylor, and Samantha; his brother Frank; sister Patricia Ackerson and her husband Dennis and many nieces and nephews. He is also greatly missed by his dogs, Lola and Buster.
A memorial service is 2 p.m. Dec. 19 at First United Methodist Church of Marble Falls.
Memorial contributions may be made in his memory to the Phoenix Center or the Hill Country Children’s Advocacy Center.
