Martin B. Daenzer passed away Dec. 14, 2014, after a long, hard battle with melanoma. He was born in Sterling, Kansas, on Aug. 15, 1950, to Orville and Fern Archambeau Daenzer.

He graduated from Travis High School and spent four years in the Navy on board the destroyer USS Power.

Martin retired from the post office in Austin and Taylor after 30 years of service. He loved his family, country dancing, smoking briskets, boating, his dog Kikki and life in the country on Lake Buchanan. We miss him dearly.
Preceding him in death were his parents and beloved daughter, Jade Deanzer.

He is survived by his wife, Christine Daenzer; son, Matthew Daenzer and wife Lauren; granddaughters, Alyssa and Keira; sisters, Kathy Blades and Linda Daenzer; brother, Phil Daenzer; former wife, Denise; and a niece and nephew.
In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to Gold Ribbon Rescue, www.grr-tx.com.
