Mary Hunter Houston Bible died peacefully in her home Dec. 23, 2014, at the age of 82. She was born Feb. 3, 1932, to T.R. Houston and Lockey Lucile Holland in Travis County.
Mary is survived by her daughter, Lana Sue and Bobby Vaughn of Fairland; daughter-in-law, Laura Turner of Marble Falls; grandchildren, Shannon and Eric Kuenzer, Shelly and Jake York, Loyd Vaughn and Angie, Blake Scott Turner II, Susan, Dorian and Becky Turner, and Mariah Turner; great-grandchildren, Brittany and James Wrye, Kelsey Vaughn, Ashton and Angelica York, Colby Turner, Austin Turner, and Aubrey Turner; great-great-grandchild, her loving baby, Leigha Hunter Wrye; and many other relatives and friends.
Those who preceded her in death were her parents; husband, Loyd Bible; sister, Peggy Sue Sims; and her loving son, Blake Scott Turner.
A private burial ceremony was held on the family ranch.
