Rita Lavelle Holloway, 67, of Llano, Texas, passed away Jan. 12, 2015. Rita was born Feb. 24, 1947, to Ottis and Lucille Halliburton in Llano. She was also a resident of Austin throughout her life.
Rita loved spending time with her family, who she truly loved unconditionally. She enjoyed coaching softball, gardening and spending time outdoors hunting and fishing. She was extremely creative and had a way of making everything a little more fun.
Rita is survived by her daughters, Tracy Leverett and husband Sammy of Llano and Kim DeCesaris and husband Wayne of Austin; brother Jerry Halliburton and wife Judy of Sierra Vista, Arizona; grandchildren, Jordan Leverett and fiancé Jamie Henkaus of New Braunsfels, Jessica Leverett of Llano and Connor DeCesaris of Austin; numerous nieces and nephews; and countless friends.
Rita was preceded in death by her parents, Ottis and Lucille Halliburton; brother Tony Halliburton; and sister, Connie Sue Halliburton.
A memorial service is Jan. 18 at Waldrope-Hatfield-Hawthorne Funeral Home, 307 E. Sandstone in Llano, (325) 247-4300.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Cowboy Church or Back Pack Buddies at Llano High School.
