William Richard Randolph, 83, of Llano, Texas, passed away Jan. 15, 2015. He was born July 3, 1932, in Seminole, Texas, to John B. Paul and S.T. (Wright) Randolph.
He grew up in Lamesa and graduated with a bachelor’s degree in agriculture form Texas Tech University. For many years, he worked for the General Sales Manager’s Office of the U.S. Department of Agriculture in Washington, D.C., and was senior agricultural attache in Tokyo in the late ‘70s. After retirement, they moved to Llano.
Survivors include his wife, Ayako; two sisters, Clara Grimes and husband Terry of May and Gearline Thompson of Kileen. He is also survived by nieces Lana Rodgers, Sharea Weedon, Christine Thompson; numerous grandnieces; nephews Ricky and Rickard; numerous grandnephews; and dear friends, Reese and Margie Wingate of Llano.
A graveside service was Jan. 20 at Llano City Cemetery with Pastor Dale Strawn of Bible Baptist Church officiating.
