Clara Mae Pierce, 78, of Marble Falls, Texas, passed away Jan. 25, 2015. She was born to Joseph and Dorothea (Williams) Montgomery on Dec. 17, 1936, in Champaign, Illinois.
Clara owned several retail businesses. She also enjoyed ceramics, softball, bowling, card games, and Tetris and Mario Brother video games. She owned The Pub in Buchanan Dam and was also head of the Karma Club in Burnet.
She is survived by her sons, Joseph McCubbin and wife Marie of Cottonwood Shores, David McCubbin and wife Janet of Granite Shoals and Jerry McCubbin of Marble Falls; daughters, Linda Rowley and husband David of Cottonwood Shores, Cathy Bruns of Marble Falls and Lucinda Ashby and husband Kent of Waxhaw, North Carolina; 14 grandchildren; and 19 great-grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her parents.
