Ella Rose Crisp, 72, passed away Dec. 14, 2014. She was born Aug. 2, 1942, in Houston to Alfred and Wilda Meacham.
She graduated from Dayton High School in 1960. She received her Bachelor of Arts in teaching from Sam Houston State University. Ella taught in Huntsville and Kansas City. She retired from teaching in Marble Falls.
Ella is survived by her children, Angie Blaisdell and husband John Blaisdell, Danna Bruns and husband Rex Bruns and Bubba White and wife Shirley White; grandchildren, Amber Blaisdell, Brianna Shrubar, Brian Shrubar, Geoffen Bruns, Chelcee Bruns, Ashley McGaha, Whitney Taylor and Dylan Ball; sisters, Ouida Hopkins, Wilda Meacham, Paula Olguin and Shirley Haidusek; and her dog, Fancy. She is also survived by numerous other relatives and close friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Don Crisp; and brother, Melburn Meacham.
Ella’s smile and laugh were truly like none other. She loved reading and sewing. She also loved her family unconditionally.
