Melva Ellison, 94, of Burnet, Texas passed away Dec. 13, 2014, at the Oaks Nursing Center. She lived in Burnet for 15 years after moving from Comanche, Texas, to be near her family.
She was a member of Oaks West Church of Christ and had many Christian friends.
Melva was an Avon representative for 42 years in Lubbock, Comanche and Burnet.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Ernest Ellison; parents; and three siblings.
Survivors include her daughter, Nancy Richardson and husband Jerry; grandchildren, Lori Head and Bryan Head; great-grandchild, Arya Head; brother, Bob Watson; and several nieces and nephews.
A funeral service is 2 p.m. Dec. 18 at Oaks West Church of Christ in Burnet. Burial is 11 a.m. Dec. 20 at Resthaven Cemetery in Lubbock.
