Nancy Ellen Frazier, 66, of Kingsland, formerly of San Antonio, died Dec. 21, 2014, after a valiant fight to survive injuries she sustained in an auto accident in Buchanan Dam in the early morning hours of April 19 of this year.
Nancy was born to H. Leon and Hettie Jane (Hungate) Furlong in Gainesville, Texas, on Aug. 6, 1948.
As friends and family know, Nancy was one of a kind — energetic, fun-loving and generous with a great sense of humor and always willing to lend a hand no matter the task. Nancy was very creative and artistic and had wonderful imagination. She enjoyed going to go to garage sales, playing gaming machines and kicking up her heels country dancing.
Nancy married Larry Frazier on April 10, 1993, and the two of them enjoyed the simple country life, often going antiquing and visiting with good friends and family. Nancy also loved the Texas coast and beaches.
Survivors include her husband, Larry Frazier of San Antonio and Kingsland; daughter, Cecily Ann Jones of Selma, Texas; two stepchildren; and seven grandchildren.
Nancy was preceded in death by her parents.
A memorial service is 11 a.m. Jan. 7 at Mission Park Chapel, 1700 S.E. Military Drive in San Antonio, followed by a graveside service at noon.
