John Bennett Marselli, 62, of Burnet passed away Nov. 1, 2014. He was born April 11, 1952, in Houston to Carlo and Doris “Penny” Britton Marselli.

John was a resident of Granite Mesa Rehabilitation Home in Marble Falls. He was battling stage 4 lymphoma and a long list of other ailments. He fought the good fight.

John lived a life like we all should, filled with faith and always looking for the good in everything and having a smile on his face for everyone. Heaven gained a special angel.

He traveled the world with his family, was a “human GPS” and loved planes and the space program.  John was mentally challenged but never let that keep him from doing or seeing all that life had to offer.

John was preceded in death by his father, Carlo Marselli.

Left to celebrate his memory are his mother, Penny Robbins; sisters, Carla Spencer, Linda Bryant and Margaret Berger; and brother, Charlie Marselli. John is also survived by his nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews and his dog, Jack.

A private celebration of John’s life will be held at a later date by his family at his home on Lake Buchanan, which he loved so dearly.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Granite Mesa, 1401 Max Copeland Drive, Marble Falls, TX 78654, for Residents Special Activities.

Arrangements by Clements-Wilcox Funeral Home, 306 Texas 29 East in Burnet, (512) 756-2222. Go to www.clementswilcoxburnet.com to offer condolences.
